Smart Room Control

Every themed room at Cedar Hollow has its own controller in your pocket. One app per room, designed for that room only. The mirror talks. The lanterns dim on cue. The hearth roars to life. A character can be summoned at six in the morning to wake the children. We build the software, the hardware, and the AI behind it.

Controller One · Faun's Hideaway

The Magic Mirror & the Faun's Lights

The Faun's Hideaway is one of our enchanted woodland retreats. Inside the cabin: a Gothic mirror on the wall that listens and speaks, a candle cluster on the hearth, and a row of cave lanterns set into the rock. The controller lets guests run all of it from the bedside.

The Faun's Hideaway controller, Mirror tab. A Gothic arched mirror glows with blue lightning. The screen reads 'The mirror sleeps' with an Awaken the mirror button. Down the left edge are three character portraits: the White Queen, Maya and the Professor.
The mirror speaks back. Tap to awaken it and choose who appears: the White Queen, Myriam the Explorer, or the Wizard of Ox. Each is voiced live by an AI tuned to that character. Guests can hold a real conversation with the mirror, then send it back to sleep.
And the mirror responds. A real Gothic mirror on the cabin wall: glass, frame, electronics and an AI behind it. The screen on the left is what guests tap. This is what they see, hear and speak with.
The Faun's Hideaway controller, Lights tab. Two ornate gold-bordered cards: Cave Lanterns with Illuminate and Darken buttons, and Faun's Candles with Kindle and Extinguish buttons.
Light the room with a tap. Cave lanterns illuminate or darken on command. The candles on the hearth kindle and extinguish from across the cabin. No fumbling for switches, no hidden remote: just two cards, four taps.
The Faun's Hideaway controller, Try Me tab. A Summon at a time form with a time field, three character avatars and options for a Wake-up alarm or a custom My Message option, with a gold Set the magic button.
Summon a character on a timer. Pick a time, pick a character, choose between the Cedar Hollow song or your own custom message. At the appointed moment the mirror awakens and the character delivers your line. We've used it for wake-ups, birthdays, and the occasional polite haunting.
Controller Two · Beaver's Den

The Den. The Crystal Ball. The Queen's Hunt.

The Beaver's Den is a glamping pod and an escape room in one. Sleep there for the night, wake the crystal ball, and the room turns into a sixty-minute game. The controller carries both modes side by side: a quiet evening, or the Queen's wolves on the hunt.

The Beaver's Den controller, Room tab. Header reads BEAVER'S DEN, Crystal Ball Controller. A toggle for The Queen is awake, two cards for Lanterns (Illuminate / Dim) and Hearth (Stoke / Rest), and a Den Song player with a tune from Myriam.
The everyday Den. Wake or sleep the crystal ball. Brighten or soften the lanterns. Stoke or rest the hearth. Play Myriam's Den Song. The room responds to a tap and feels lived-in either way.
The Beaver's Den controller, Escape tab. The Queen's Hunt artwork with the White Queen in furs. Status reads 'The Den is quiet'. Below: 60:00 timer, You have one hour, a gold Start Game button and an Escape Complete confirmation.
Switch the Den into a game. One tap, sixty minutes, the Queen's Hunt begins. The controller runs the clock, tracks the team's progress, and confirms when they've escaped. The room is on a timer; the timer is in the controller.
The Beaver's Den controller, Help tab. The Queen's Hunt header above six Hints buttons numbered 1 to 6, then five Answers buttons, then a dropdown answer For old time's sake.
Hints when the woods get cold. Six progressive hints, five answers held back for the truly stuck, and a quiet way out for hosts who need to give a team the final push. The room never seizes up.
